The Main Hall

Our largest space. With acoustic ceiling, polished parquet floor and neutral colour scheme it offers you a blank canvas and can be decorated to suit your occasion. Original features include beautiful Victorian stonework pillars. The Main Hall is a perfect size for wedding receptions, larger parties and functions, concerts and public meetings.

Adjacent to the Main Hall we have a well equipped professional caterer’s kitchen with stainless steel working surfaces. Your caterers can prepare the food that you want with our equipment which includes a 6 burner gas range, two microwave ovens, electric oven , a Bain Marie warming oven and commercial dishwasher.

The coffee bar can be adapted to provide a bar area and a baby grand piano is available on request.

The adjacent West End Room can be used to extend the space and leads to a paved outside area for reception drinks. This room can also provide a buffet area or even a ‘quiet’ space for guests.

Ground floor facilities include disabled toilet and baby changing area.

The Alexandra Hall

A beautiful upper Hall, formed in the original roof timbers of the church and still incorporating a stunning arched ceiling. The sprung wooden floor makes this space ideal for dance and movement activities. Character windows and a neutral colour scheme make this a light and airy space.

Cosy and self-contained, it is ideal for smaller functions and drink receptions.

Note: This room is on the first floor but we do have lift access.

The Marwood Room

A wonderful new room, formed between the rear of the church and our boundary, that has its own bathroom and oodles of natural light.

Beautifully exposed stone walls and wooden beams make this a light and airy space, ideal for smaller functions.

A private entrance and facilities means that this wonderful room can be used completely separately from the main building.

West End Room & Terrace

This lovely bright room can be used to extend the space in the Main Hall, or on its own, for smaller meetings and classes.

Adjacent to the Main Hall, with glazed doors leading to paved outside area, which provides a pleasant location for reception drinks. This light, bright room provides an ideal quiet area for wedding receptions or larger functions, useful for your older or younger guests! Can also be the location of a staffed buffet, freeing even more space in the Main Hall.
